We, NPR-RIKEN CORPORATION and our domestic affiliates (hereinafter "NPR-RIKEN Group") have own basic privacy policy.

We believe that it is our social responsibility to properly handle and protect personal information in all aspects of our corporate activities. So we established the following Privacy Policy (hereinafter "Privacy Policy") to comply with all the relevant laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information and to respond to the confidence of the society relying on the following Privacy Policy.

1. 1. NPR-RIKEN Group shall comply with the applicable laws and regulations, including the Act concerning Protection of Personal Information.
2. 2. NPR-RIKEN Group shall use the personal information within the range of specified purpose described in "Handling of Personal Information".
3. 3. NPR-RIKEN Group shall always be acutely aware of risks contingent to the management of personal information such as unauthorized access, leakage, loss or damage, and accordingly shall take necessary systematic, physical, human and technical actions against such risks.
4. 4. NPR-RIKEN Group appoints the administrator of personal information to protect, operate and strictly and properly manage personal information. NPR-RIKEN Group also appoints the audit administrator to conduct audits on the protection of personal information as well as to improve the internal system and operation. NPR-RIKEN Group further supervise its subcontractors' management of personal information through the personal information administrator and the personal information audit administrator.
5. 5. NPR-RIKEN Group provides the internal regulation on the protection of personal information to have its employees thoroughly perform the protection of personal information, and gives education and trainings of personal information protection for the employees.
6. 6. NPR-RIKEN Group shall continuously improve the management and operation of this Privacy Policy and the internal regulation concerning the protection of personal information in response to the revisions of laws and regulations, changes in social conditions and/or the audit results.

1. 1. Acquisition of Personal Information
   NPR-RIKEN Group shall acquire necessary personal information by legally fair means.
2. 2. Purpose of Using Personal Information
   NPR-RIKEN Group use personal information for the following purpose only in order to conduct our business activities:
   

   ・Receiving feedback from customers ・Responding to inquiries and requests from customers such as requesting documents. ・Researching market and developing new products and services. ・Guidance for events, seminars, and campaigns ・Sending E-mail news letters and documents. ・Providing information about products or services handled by NPR-RIKEN Group or its subcontractors. ・For any other purpose incidental and related our business.

3. 3. Provision of Information to Third Parties
   No personal information will be provided to any third party by NPR-RIKEN Group without prior obtaining consent by the person in question, except as required by applicable laws and regulations. NPR-RIKEN Group shall also handle information not categorized as personal information as if it is personal information to the extent possible. NPR-RIKEN Group may provide personal information to its subcontractor within the scope of the intended purpose of use, but always after concluding a confidential agreement and an agreement on the protection of personal information with such subcontractor to prohibit any unauthorized use of personal information for other than the intended purpose of use, and always takes safety control measures in such case.
4. 4. Procedure of Disclosure
   If you need disclosure, amendment, withdrawal or other changes of your personal information retained by NPR-RIKEN Group, please contact us to the following contact E-mail address. If we receive such request, we will conduct necessary investigation without delay in view of avoidance of information leakage and securing the correctness, and will take necessary action corresponding to your request within a reasonable time frame, only if and when we could confirm your identity as the requester. In such case, please note that you will have to bear the postage fee when we send you the result.
